No need to buy battery packs, a charger or AA batteries: all three use batteries compatible with the packs already in your drill or impact driver. Volume output ranges from personal-use levels all the way up to speakers powerful enough to overpower saws and compressors operating near the work site. On some models, you can connect two speakers in stereo, which is useful on larger sites where a single speaker may not cover the entire area. Weights range from 3 to 12 lbs.
